Not liking Sophie in this story is fine, but saying the romance is forced is just wrong. They were already close friends when they were young. What's so forced about her developing feelings for him when she was actually of age to develop those feelings? Plus the most they've done so far is a few dates. Not even a kiss has happened yet. If anything, this feels far more realistic than the usual several girls fawning over the MC and trying to get in his pants just because "he's strong".
