i truly like the story and the ml's personality and dedication but the ml's hyperfixation on making out and sex while the mc is literally going through HELL is making me crazy. while ml might not know of everything that mf Lister did to our mc, he seen the bruises. looking for an older shojo manga which also has a movie adaptation.
the story was about a popular highschool girl who moved from tokyo to a rural town and meets this guy who is kinda perceived as a "god" by everyone. his family owns a shrine and he was always swimming in the water - for some reason everyone in that town viewed him as this larger than life figure. The fl later starts modeling. i dont remember much but the plot was very dramatic and featured alot of heavy topics. at some point I think they started dating but broke up because she was assaulted, there was also an annoying 2nd female character

It featured the drama and showbiz genre. it was about a girl, whose dead mom was a famous model. the the male lead has long black hair and is a photographer (?, or something) and has a twin brother. i think the ml had gold eyes and the twin black ones? the twin bro was a model and crazy and obsessed with his brother. I think the story starts with the fl meeting the ml disguised as a homeless person and he helps her pick up oranges that she dropped. the fl goes on to become a model too

I was eating this up like crazy until I reached ch 11.. what do you mean she's 16 and he's 23??!!?! Its just wierd. Cant swoon over the ml anymore either because he's obviously a creep (in love with a 16 year old - for a long time so as well..) and a loser (23 and still in HS)...
