I was eating this up like crazy until I reached ch 11.. what do you mean she's 16 and he's 23??!!?! Its just wierd. Cant swoon over the ml anymore either because he's obviously a creep (in love with a 16 year old - for a long time so as well..) and a loser (23 and still in HS)...

looking for an older shojo manga which also has a movie adaptation.
the story was about a popular highschool girl who moved from tokyo to a rural town and meets this guy who is kinda perceived as a "god" by everyone. his family owns a shrine and he was always swimming in the water - for some reason everyone in that town viewed him as this larger than life figure. The fl later starts modeling. i dont remember much but the plot was very dramatic and featured alot of heavy topics. at some point I think they started dating but broke up because she was assaulted, there was also an annoying 2nd female character
just hope the uke decides on his first tattoo HIMSELF and doesnt go with whatever the ML wants...
seems like the ML is kinda doing the same things his ex did to him to the uke now. being his first time, doing his first tattoo, which will most likely feel like a marking as well considering the way ML is already obsessing over that tattoo
