Hello, Spanish here.
Sangría in a wineglass??
Olive-mixed beer?!?
When I see other cultures in a comic, does everything always seem so awkward and I just can't realize???
I hate it when the Japanese venture from their own cultures because they don’t do proper research. Just imagine what it must be like for middle eastern and Africans when they use our culture, make the characters either ghastly pale or have none of our features. They should just stick to what they know
This comic was already here with a different title http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kashiwagi_kyoudai_no_renai_jijou/
Thank you, sensei, for picturing girls as vessels without a meaning in live except for their relationships with men.
And weak to the bones. And without a voice to say no.
Things not always work like that. If I was reading a horror comic and said "this is awful because it is scary" then to hell with me, but this is different.
The stories in films, books, etc. affect people in the way the learn to see the world and interact with it.
Women are still not equal yo men in the world, their opinions get ignored, their wishes get pushed aside, they earn less money and so on.
If women could have models they could use to learn that they deserve to be respected the situation could slowly improve, but an astonishing amount of women represented in the contents of stories... have you heard of the Bechdel test? http://bechdeltest.com
If you look at this story in particular the girl is not only weak, everybody has the right to be weak, but also she seems to have no life away from the male. If he says "you are going to fake being my wife" then she doesn't even go home, she just stays there taking care of other people's home. Doesn't she have a life and things to do? Does she have a family? Her only dream in life was to get married. AND she also gets raped as if it was not important, because it is not important, she loves him anyway so he should do whatever he pleases with her.
That woman without a life, without opinions, without a voice, whose body belong to men is certainly not something anybody (men or women) should let go into their subconscious. It is scarily messed up.
I just realized this comic has very few comments. I'm sure a lot of people are enjoying it, how come some comics bring people to comment a lot and others don't?
This comic is so greaaaaaat.
From my manga fans communities, majority of mangago reader is female, so that is one of the reason you will frequently see yaoi @ shoujo genre manga most of the time at this website and have active comments there. This kind of manga usually targeted to male, (some female too) . As for male readers it seem like they prefer to read it at other website such as mangahere, mangkakalot, or mangafox. So if you interested, you can have a look at these website to join at their comment section (like me)(=・ω・=)
I really love this mangaka
