I've read this before but never with the BLCD (the ones dramatized were with the Kanda brothers only, sadly). Boi, that was SUPERB voice acting and sfx. Had to pause a couple of times to give way to laughter. A plus (SS+?). Don't read without it!
The censorship of the word "pube" was so unexpected and had me lol-ing every time they played the sound effect. Also loved all the times younger Kanda called Uesaka "honey".

Not to be a wet rag, but I don't think it's just a self esteem issue (but it is a major contributor). I think Kouta's not mentally ready to have a relationship. He's focussing on the wrong things. It also explains why being intimate didn't really change his perspective. They really shouldn't have taken that next step early, but hey, author's gotta sell 'em yaois.
I don't buy all this talk in the comments of a six year, one-sided unrequited angsty love either, like Kouta's very being is all for Haruto as if he was in his twenties when he's very likely more busy dealing with puberty and being a kid, especially in the earlier years.
That author's note, though: "How long are 'Free hugs' usually allowed in seconds? As a bystander, it looks like you could get some frottage going [...]"

At least the boys aren't speaking an alien language anymore (except for squid fairy) and kinda getting a bit more character.
I'm seriously loving this because it's so meta, especially for people who have dabbled with story writing and knowing what a pain it is to wrangle characters to do your bidding (head scenes) when they're running around in your head doing their own thing (tails) that affect the future of the story (if the writer allows, that is).
