i dislike mpreg with a passion but couldn't resist. unfortunately, the crown prince just makes me mad. T_T
it's annoying how he constantly tries to guilt-trip louis and rape him. bro if you like him then just say it, and don't do it forcefully... it's kind of a waste tbh because this could've been an amazing story where louis is smart and maetel is cunning but not crappy and they're forced to ally ending in an enemies to lovers trope.

Why do you hate mpreg? I like it because some of them show the guys suffering as much as us women do. Like in blood link it shows a guy suffering the same way us women do (morning sickness, baby bumps, etc.) but it also shows him shopping for baby cloths, feeling the baby kick, etc. if you don’t like it because it’s unnatural, it makes no sense, or the classic question of “how do they give birth?” Well I would guess a C section or maybe even through the ass (if that sounds gross to you look up what some doctors pull out of their patients asses and see what sounds gross after that.)
Unless you mean omegaverses then I understand what you mean. With the exception of Love Shuttle. It’s extremely hard to find a lighter hearted omegaverse like that one. The rest of them are essentially the less gore-y gay version of handmaids tale where the handmaids are the omegas and the commanders are the alphas and ain’t NOBODY goin to Canada.
it's not that i absolutely hate it, i just avoid it like the plague because most of these mpreg stories often include rape and i get iffy whenever i read it. i'd tolerate adopting kids better.
i also am not too fond of kids save a few, so i tend to avoid reading stories that have single dads etc, but of course there are exceptions.
and the last reason is most likely because i'm not a fan of seeing men being portrayed as women. not to be confused with disliking feminine men, i like cute guys too and like seeing men wear cute clothing (dresses, skirts, etc).
in the end it's just a matter of preference tbh, i have no problem with people who like mpreg, but as for myself i'm not a fan of it.
though it's not like i've never read an mpreg story though, i like love shuttle.
I prefer the ultra rare yaoi where they have healthy relationships or at least the slightly more common yaoi where the uke protects the seme (not in a toxic possessive way I hate possessive characters)
Sadly you’ll almost never see that in yaoi because authors and publishers think rape and toxic relationships is what women want to read about. If you ask me if they include such things they should include if the character has certain fetishes or interests and warn the readers in the very first chapter which is typically free you know what I mean?
you will probably only find those in the shounen ai category lol, but if you keep looking then you might just find ones that are up to your standards. i have a list of unproblematic healthy bl stories that i really liked and there's only a few right now but they're great, i'm prob gonna keep finding more ahaha
