Honestly, I haven't read as many as I'd like. Mostly, it's just been smut.
Its interesting to think about how we all have different thresholds for toxicity in fiction. I ate up this story, Passion, and Love Is An Illusion, for example, but I struggle with Sagold's works, and I have never been able to touch stuff like Killing Stalking. We all have our own tastes.

Woof, I've definitely read stories that were emotionally trying, but I try to avoid it for the most part. December Rain is one that I recall was a rough read. I read it before the tragedy tag was added and before they tacked on the fix-it chapter. Painter of the Night, too.

This story is meant to be read by adults who have an understanding that this behavior is toxic, but it's also a bit of a guilty pleasure for some people in fiction. I don't want to see people rationalizing it in the comments. Ya boy is a psycho top, and it's fun to read about. It's as simple as that.

But damn, sometimes it's just too enticing.
I could imagine a plot point happening where the psychic guy continues to gain powers and eventually is able to alter reality or move to other universes (or whatever) and there being a whole thing where the psychic guy agrees with the mc that they are stuck in a bl world and asks him if he wants to leave or change things but the mc is conflicted because he has grown to love this world and ultimately decides to stay/not change things.
