Honestly tho Pantherbae probably got (1) told something and left the drinks at the door cuz he was afraid something might have happened and felt it was unsafe to go back --- i.e. this is probably where author is going to insert threesome here cuz the thing is canon or (2) kuntz or MC's best friend had some semi-involvement with telling Pantherbae to be careful of what he is doing cuz he is a hugo + advice on relationships Cuz MC's best friend is kinda sketchy and really didn't say much to MC.
