Even if this is fictional like u do realize the artist looked at the story board and was like “yep this is it.” On top of that, it’s fcked up. “The mc is an asshole so they deserve to be together” like uhm no, I get karma is karma, but getting beat and then getting full on raped and to top it off the Ml is doing like textbook manipulating. GAWD DAMN did the mc like murder someone?? (Maybe who knows, I don’t cus I stopped after the first two episodes) Back to the main point, this manhwa leaves a dirty taste in my mouth and it should in urs. Don’t bother reading it.

And just because of Mido’s past and stuff doesn’t give him the excuse to be a shitty fcking person who rapes someone because of a misunderstanding. I’m so tired of BL manwhas/mangas using rape as a way to make the story “interesting” like give the characters some personality and make the story actually intriguing

I did skip through cus I got tired of the rape, so my understanding of the story isn’t great. But because why I skipped so many chaps should raise some flags of how shitty the story is. Idk how people actually like this story

Hot take: as good as the story, art and plot are. The writing on the female characters are kind of mid. I get how the story is focused on Peter/Pietro, and his goal. But the one girl that became a killer to help her brother, her character had no other importance within the story other than some parts like the hospital scene/section. And yeah there are other female characters that are important to the story. But there isn’t much to be said about their character. I mean there is the ghost sword girl, who showed a somewhat built character/personality. So yeah, my argument can be proven wrong. But there was so much build up for them and then they were dropped.
in the end, It just feels like the female characters were mid and sexualized. Again the same could be said for the male characters as well, but just take a good look at how they’re drawn and the significance they held in the story. Personally I wished there was diversity on body types for the female characters.
AND I ALREADY KNOW SOME OF YALL ARE GONNA SAY “ITS JUST A MANWHA IT AINT THAT DEEP” and I would have to agree, it’s not. But it’s just a preference and smth that I’ve noticed when reading.
I look forward on how the story progresses and hope that author doesn’t try to force any romance with Peter/Pietro cus that would lowkey be weird. (⌒▽⌒)
