Hot take: as good as the story, art and plot are. The writing on the female characters are kind of mid. I get how the story is focused on Peter/Pietro, and his goal. But the one girl that became a killer to help her brother, her character had no other importance within the story other than some parts like the hospital scene/section. And yeah there are other female characters that are important to the story. But there isn’t much to be said about their character. I mean there is the ghost sword girl, who showed a somewhat built character/personality. So yeah, my argument can be proven wrong. But there was so much build up for them and then they were dropped.
in the end, It just feels like the female characters were mid and sexualized. Again the same could be said for the male characters as well, but just take a good look at how they’re drawn and the significance they held in the story. Personally I wished there was diversity on body types for the female characters.
AND I ALREADY KNOW SOME OF YALL ARE GONNA SAY “ITS JUST A MANWHA IT AINT THAT DEEP” and I would have to agree, it’s not. But it’s just a preference and smth that I’ve noticed when reading.

I’m not good with names but I do think that the guy with black hair is more suited to rule the kingdom with her but I don’t want them to be end game. I would like the bodyguard to be with her but I don’t know how they would do that, basing off of the story and how politics work in this WEBTOON.
I’ve read other comments about how they rooted for the black haired guy, I have mixed feelings about him cause what he did was caused by something but does not excuse it. Also because he is so possessive over her, idk if it’s based off of romantic feelings that he has yet to realize or he is just possessive and thinks of her as his tool still. But also for the bodyguard, I like him and I want her to end up with him but can he rule a country? Like yeah he’s strong and all but I feel like he’s not fit to rule unlike the black haired guy.

It's like those manhuas that always has the villainess get raped at the end to atone for what she does to the mc
The only story that had a character do something like that but still was an amazing story and interesting character that people grew to like is the guy from dark haven / guardian of the lamb. But it probably cause neither of those handled those topics in a fetish way cause it was meant to be serious, not to be enjoyed like this story.
