I've been inlove with this manga/anime/live action since I was in grade school.
im 25 yrs old now. and this is so sad and frustrating.
the relationship of ren and kyoko is slowly progressing now.
i think this will end in a few more years but in a rushed manner.the other character will slowly fade in the bg. i dont want this to be like nana but it might be become like it too if this doesnt end soon.
i really dont want to say shounen mangas are better in releasing since author of those mangas always get sick bec of deadline but this is too painful .

I've been following this for a long time as well (a little bit over 10 years I guess), but in my opinion I kinda came to appreciate it.
Compared to other stories I feel like their relationship is more realistically paced.
I also have a fear that this will become like Nana, but welp, nothing we can do besides wish the author a good health lol
And about shonen mangas, there are some that are kinda worst though, the most infamous one I guess is Hunter, but there are other examples like vagabond, d. gray man and berserk.
And honestly I understand why the all go on hiatus.
It's sad and frustrating, but then again, we can only send our wishes to them for a healthy life.
Its not about the author exhausting herself to finish this story, it's about her finally finding (or wanting to find) a conclusion, because there are entire arcs that could be chopped off and the story would be the same, if not better.

btw even though for us readers it's been years the time within the story flows waaaaay slower it's only a fracture of the time we experience. Which also explains why some readers think there's basically no progress in the relationship between Tsuruga and Kyoko. But in the newest chapter 291 for example it's only been a few months max since the movie where Tsuruga acted Cain Heel who acted BJ was finished filming.
I really don't want it to have the same fate as Nana and Glass mask. I hope it doesn't end like that, from the bottom of my heart. As much as it seems that I don't care about it like I used to, I still actually do, and I want it to go on. To keep that same "f*** you all, Imma succeed !!!" energy (lol). It helped me a lot as a teen and I hope it does for other people too.
yes it did. that was some exceptional woman power energy when there weren't many strong female mc manga /webtoons there yet. and it still is. Kyoko is damn special I gotta say! (β§ββ¦)
