I’ve seen a lot of people saying they’re depressed after reading this story but am I the only one who isn’t? Like yeah there’s angst but I feel more hyped than anything if something happens. Maybe it’s because I reread it so I get excited when I notice new hints or my pea brains like “holy shit the things gonna happen” but I get REALLY hyped when I read this, like comparable to some of my favorite shows. I genuinely love everything about this. I love Lau and xin’s layered personalities and their yearning for one another, the side characters at fantastic and fun to watch. I love the emotional art and paneling and I especially love the dialogue. My brain still randomly replays quotes from this weeks after I read it. And I love how the story and mystery itself is structured. I have good faith in the author that this will have a happy ending, so I find myself enjoying the ride more than anything else. Lian and Wei will turn out to be good guys. Alex will wake up from his coma. Lau and Xin will live in a small cottage in the mountains for the rest of their days away from all of this bs. The Zhou family will rot in hell for all of eternity. I sound like a crack addict saying this but I genuinely believe this will have a happy ending. Maybe the characters will gain physical or emotional scars but overall they’ll be happy. THIS WONT BE DOOMED YAOI

We both might be snorting massive amounts of copium saying this but yeah I think the author will make this a happy ending The storybook chapter imo proves that, essentially implying whatever xin has done so far is kinda the bad ending and now its up to lau to get them to the good ending or something like that. The only issue standing in the way of this is the whole xin getting pumped with a shit ton of oleandrin poison problem... which i looked up and apparently there are some things u can do to recover from oleandrin poisoning, but tbh i dont think any of them will work at this stage. and those mostly are for consumption not getting a whole bottle of it tattooed into ur skin so yeah xin potentially dying might throw a wrench into our happy ending BUT I BELIEVE IN THE AUTHOR nonetheless Σ(っ°Д °;)っ
