Nothing about Shiba's approach is mature, she literally said that she's ghosting Paul to 'teach him a lesson'.
He still doesn't realise that she likes him, but he's realised that he wasn't pulling his weight in the friendship. What about his behaviour deserves punishment?
Fair enough but if you like someone, why can't you resolve a situation in a way that addresses the issue. She obviously wants to be with him as she lied about the boyfriend thing and enjoyed him being 'jealous'.
Rather than ending up with a shitty outcome of him accepting that she doesn't want to speak to him or him too moving on, just be brutally straight forward about it.
I get that you guys want Dan-I to defend herself but you need to think about real life to understand her situation, not everyone can support themselves when shit like this happens, she's luckier than something to have such a great support system but she is not at fault here, she is the victim. Lets say she stands up for herself, it might stop some people from hating her and maybe they will respect her but others will continue to complain: "who does she think she is getting rude, just because she's friends with so and so...". Bullying can stop when you defend yourself but its not a definite end result.
