in chapter 40, the red-haired woman who was karsus' mom's friend said that karsus' "father" visited his mom, when she was about to die, together with a new woman. It was probably just karsus and sica who time travelled to the past... :0
can you imagine if sica also was picked up by time traveling karsus (you know from the wolves)? and thats why sica thought it was him "but should be older" in the beginning.
