Shadow go ‘BRRRR’ (≧∀≦)

[Lili] December 6, 2020 7:58 am

I don’t like the uke being all I’m not going to tell him/rely on anyone, but I do think he wanted to tell the seme originally when he tried to speak on this page
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/everlasting_heat/uu/d_chapter-1/4/
But now he’s just being stubborn and endangering himself and the baby.

he wants to abort it tho so i dont think endangering it is a problem to him lmao

Many readers are rightfully angry about this couple because of information from the sequel Eien Shika Hoshikunai. However, I think the seme did not cheat.
Not to discredit the translators of the sequel (I am very appreciative of the translation and honestly it makes the sequel more interesting), but I think there are some mistranslations.
I am basing what I am writing on the Japanese I understand from classes and google translate, so there may be some inaccuracies.

The things I will point out will probably come to light in later since Dekiai Keiyaku is now being translated, but I want to clear this up now since many may drop this series due to the misunderstandings.

I think Reiji and Kuramoto had already broken up before Dekiai Keiyaku began.
On page http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/dekiai_keiyaku/raw/iur_chapter-0.2/pg-72/ Reiji says “In the past, I was Kuramoto’s lover.”

I found the Japanese raws of Eien Shika Hoshikunai on Twitter
https://twitter.com/dear_plus_/status/1199258481062100992 , and the first page matches with this page http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/dekiai_keiyaku/raw/iur_chapter-0.2/pg-117/
It says something like it’s because it’s him (Masoto) that I fell in love. It was the same for you. (Or something, it definitely doesn’t say breaking up)

On this page, https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EKSeK-xU4AAahVp?format=jpg&name=medium he calls Kuramoto his former lover and says the two had such a strong relationship, he couldn’t come between them.

So I think Kuramoto did not cheat and there are some mistranslations in Eien Shika Hoshikunai (which is still a good story) that caused this mayhem.

Thanks for reading all this ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

This may change your opinion on the series so read at your own risk.

...so I read the raws of Dekiai Keiyaku because I was curious about how the author could make the other couple such dicks and I think there is some misunderstanding about the story.

So I think this series is actually just your usual antagonist of the prequel gets their own happy ending kind of story.

Note: Reiji was your typical antagonist in the prequel (did some shitty things), so reading Dekiai Keiyaku - if it’s ever completely translated - may ruin your image of him.

Thank you for listening to my Ted talk.

Thanks for clearing my doubts. I don't speak Japanese but I always felt like something was missing when people couldn't stop hating the ex. I felt like since we didn't have the accurate translation of the ex's story we couldn't know exactly who was the bad guy and that is why I wrote something long previously about these doubts I had but even after hearing this I still think his ex shouldn't show up during his shoots and keep sweet talking him like nothing ever happen especially knowing exactly what feelings our uke harbours for him. If his ex really cares for him he should let him be.

Oh god... Now i'm confused ╥﹏╥

Yeah but I don’t think there is a misunderstanding between the two (expect that Kuramoto doesn’t understand that he should maintain a certain distance from his ex). I just wanted to point out that the translation on mangago may be a little inaccurate since in the raws that I linked it says かつての恋人 which means former lover, not My lover like in the chapter here.

Yeah, I completely agree. Even thought they have to meet sometimes for work, the ex should maintain a certain emotional distance at the least to respect the Reiji’s feelings, which he is definitely aware of.
