Kinda feels like they've been speed running the plot ever since sayi left for the north, and it feels like a lot of details have gotten left behind in the process. Like, Karlen's kid brother was taken as a political hostage and he snuck in as a guard to get him back, but when the plague breaks out he thinks the best idea is to go back home and help? Without rescuing his brother? Dude isn't a doctor, and he didn't know the extent of sayi's healing ability nor have any plans to even bring her with him, what use would he have been other than moral support and another body to throw at the problem? Why did they completely gloss over whatever agreement sayi made with padie (who is apparently anne's daughter!) and never mention it again? What happened to Sayi's ability to heal herself of almost any kind of greivous injury?? Seriously, its hasn't come up again since like the second chapter, and they could've used that during the hostage swap to trick them into thinking sayi was dead, at least for a little while. And don't even get me started on how hard they sidelined elliot. Second male lead syndrome is strong with this one.
I can't remember the name of a manga i read a while ago and I want to read it again. Its about this princess who has the sight in her eye stolen by an evil necromancer as a child because necromancers live on the life force of whoever they take a body part fron, then the necromancer invades the country and kills her family and takes away her ability to walk as well. She survives because and ancient spirit posseses her body and her tells her that she has to retrieve a sword that can channel his power. She teams up with this giant guy who lives in a mountain pass that's the only safe crossing point between her country and a rival country. He's part of a soldier group I think is called the Black Knights, not too sure on the name, who are all made up of giant like him and they defend the mountain pass from both countries. The giant guy got his eye stolen by a different necromancer, so they travel together with him carrying the princess and fighting.
Please I really hope someone can help me find this manga I've been driving myself crazy!!
Why even bother making the manhua if you're going to leave out so much of the story?? If the scanlator wasn't filling us in we'd have no idea what's going on. The pacing is also really fast and kinda jumbled
That's the thing with manhua honestly, if you familiar with reading other manhua no matter what the genre is, it always feels out of place for some place or lacking from the novel. But I honestly dk why. It's not all manhua but still yk
You're right about that lol. There's plenty manhua that are adapted from novels that are amazing and follow the story exactly, but ones like this honestly feel like they should be a one chapter promo for the novel, rather than something to be read on its own
