In the novel, yuder does not reveal his abilities to anyone in his new life. He used only a few natural elements in front of people at most. Anyone learning his full capabilities was him revealing his ultimate weakness, anything unnatural, as he has no control over them whatsoever. Referencing ch 1, they had tied him down with unnatural monster materials- that's why he could not free himself and escape death.
That is the reason I was quite surprised that he casually told Kiolle the extent of his abilities, def did not happen in the novel and could get a little confusing in future chapters of the webcomic.
eh we'll see, we'll see ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ ( ̄∇ ̄")

I read it from here
I haven't read the novel but I do think that Yuder isn't revealing much of his abilities. they all knew yuder can hold 2 nature element, that being water and fire in his test exam, and I think this is considered as the fire element, I also think that Yuder is actually held back his power, he's only demonstrated one or two abilities that he has. for the gravity one (or magnetic ?) I guess that's not too shown as a big shock, since people might suspect him to be fitted more to mystic class rather than physical class he took, he might learnt that abilities there, maybe ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Is he really that emotionless? I've read some of the novel and my man just seems like he doesn't know how to express himself. He definitely has some emotions! Just terrible at recognising and acting on them- plus considering the fact that he is not experienced with talking to people. In this regression, he's trying to open himself up! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I read it on the site novelingua. Here's a link for your convenience!(▰˘◡˘▰)
