I don't know if I want Sebastian back story tho, he's a demon and he does contracts, unless it's directly related to Ciel, or has some impact in the direct story, I don't think it's necessary, but we'll see :)

So this is not in any way a critic or anything, but I was wondering if I was the only one that thinks "slice of life" is a tricky topic, it can get tiresome and out of hand quite easily. I feel, just recently, that this thing has too many characters involved all the time, and every new chapter is technically less about the family and more about where the family is at or who they're interacting with. I don't know it feels a bit ... uneventful??? Like the new events are really not that important... Agh I don't know how to explain myself with this. I guess if you get it you get it, if not, that's fine.
Yeah I get it! Personally I like it because it shows development for Naoto, who used to isolate himself out of fear due to his trauma, and now he can interact with so many ppl and how his family and friends have expanded since meeting Hazuki. BUT I do get it, nothing really happens because it's not necessarily about going from one specific plot point to another. And fundamentally slice of life is about the mundane things, the character interactions, and not necessarily about reaching plot points. Not that they can't, as character growth does sometimes happen, but unless you're very invested in the characters it can feel stagnant and repetitive. I've been reading this since chapter one so I'm very invested, but some may not be because of the more slice of life stuff that isn't about drama. Though I do get that sometimes it feels like the story wants to focus on others, not just the main couple, but I get it's because it now also involves an older Shizuku and her new siblings, which expand the character list.
It was good while there was distinction between him being a dragon and him being just a possesive psycho like any other toxic male lead... now there's no difference. This is the classic depict of possesive man, as if people don't know anything else, like, if you fucking don't know how to write proper possesive beasts, why going into that hole?
and that goes for the regular stories too, if they don't know how many forms a possesive person can have why pick it in the first place, they always go for the same type, and it's boring.
Unimaginative people and lazy writers is what the world is being filled with.

True, this is valid if the opinion is imposed, I'm not forcing you to believe my point of view, and no one else is. So if your commentary is pointed at me, which I will assume it is as you took the time to "use my words" in my opinion, it lacks intention, and substance. I think you're actually seeing things quite short-sightedly. What amazed me is the fact that lots of people do not realize the influence of surroundings around a character. Yes, he's obsessed but to me it's actually quite obvious why. It doesn't make it healthy but definitely doesn't make it poor written as well. Notice how his character changed with time as it progressed. It's like you just forgot about everything this story was about and complain how poorly written he is without pointing out the issues? You say it's poor written just to say it's poor written but how about pointing a specific examples?
Thank goodness the egg is gone. I didn't want them to leave the egg...baby bird... prince... the little winged guy, I feared that meant they hope for them to get a child of their own with magic and such was reduced to almost nothing. When I saw the baby gone I was so relieved XD

35 chapters of technically nothing, sex and doubts, that's it. This fucker makes pages and pages of assumptions, nothing has really happen with the boyfriend, all the issues are in the uke's head and he said the seme doesn't answer anything but he's not asking anything either, fucking ambiguous questions get fucking ambiguous answers.

People entered this story with the background, he's warned her a thousand times, he has said explicitly how incapable he is of behaving like a regular human BECAUSE HE'S NOT ONE, he's more of a dragon than anything, and any good fantasy story knows dragons are fucking possessive. What do people expect? For him to be all soft and sweet and say "I finally found love, I'm a real boy!" Nah people, there are other really pricks in manhwas that people love for some reason, and they be here hating on the only one that has thrown warnings on all directions. I don't hate him, he's in character through and through. This is the type of character that can get either a happy ending or a massively disastrous one, full of tragedy and pain. And both, if handled properly, could be extremely good.
People really are turning extremely soft and emotional, really not leaving much space for rationality.

For now let's just enjoy the angst (it's good) and wait for lesset and elisabetta's character development (they BOTH need it)

I dont see her as a villain for using him cuz he's literally with the forces who destroyed her kingdom. elise fell in love w him that was pretty dumb (cant really control feelings afterall) but i cant really blame her for using him to get her means.
lesset's character can be called douche-y while also keeping in mind the fact that he's a drangonborn, being dragon born is a reason, not an excuse. You can sympathize with him while accepting the fact that elise being hurt was valid
It was pretty simple really she asked if he loved her, he said no. She said aight and changed her priorities and now he dont really love her...but still wants her...thats a major douche move isnt it?

He is EXTREMELY in charscter AND THATS WHY PEOPLE HATE HIM. And thats one of the BEST part of this manhwa.
He does love her albeit in his own twisted, possessive dragonborn way, hes just not ready to accept it because of being treated as a monster all his life and yeah i sympathize with him, BUT i also can say he was acting like a jerk and elise being hurt is valid cuz its not mutually exclusive to hold him accountable WHILE sympathising with him.

The premise was rather entertaining, I liked that he acted like the beast he is without actually being a complete ass. I feel this was well divided, because most authors tend to mix "beast" with "abusive", yeah the dude is an idiot but again that was the plot.
However, right now I feel the story is being dragged waaaay too long, it's been a few chapters now that nothing is happening just the same plot repeating over and over, and now we have these... whatever it were chapters, for a topic that coukd have been covered in half a chapter.
The constant "I'm pregnant??" ... "oh jeez I wasn't" has dragged for too long and doesn't seem to be for a reason.
Editor has started milking this story and that sucks.

XD omg... the guy (now I know it's the brother)takes the phone, tells the other person (Kotani) he's taking this person to the nearest hotel, to meet them there, hung up, next scene THEY ARE in the hotel??? No one called back? And everyone went to the hotel just like that???
Sorry if I'm missing something but the moment I saw there was AGAIN a third person meddling, as if people didn't know how to make the story interesting unless there's someone harassing the bottom, I startes to just skip through the chaptera.
I assume (and if you skipped you might have missed this) that he just knew not to bother calling back because the person on the phone was his brother. So he knew his shitty personality and knew he had to go to the hotel straight away.

Yeee never go with "assuming", this word is the worst you can do when defending a story. Assuming, everyone can do that but the story should be able to defend itself, there has to be facts, truths to sustain, any debate is lost the moment you say "I assume".

If you aren't assuming things in a story you read and having your own interpretations of a story, are you really reading a story? Creative works are meant to be interpreted and enjoyed in different ways.
