tbh, i don't think the manhwa adaptation would remove uke's gangrape parts, although it's super disturbing, coz those 2 parts kinda serve as important plot twists in the story, one for uke's mental turmoil and the other for revealing seme's backstory. They probably would tune down the strength in manhwa tho. For me the most horrendous part is if they decide to show uke's abusing scenes in manhwa, including being beaten by seme nearly everyday, forcing by seme to pee and shit on dog pads, and eating his meals from a dog bowl etc etc.
So far i kinda feel like seme's character development is a bit lacking? Like I know he loved uke before being raped by uke in middle school, but why does he still show some "affection" to uke, and it's implying here and there in the story, despite he is the one who orchestrates the entire revenge plot and determines to completely break uke down? what causes this conflicted mindset? Almost thought seme has DID just like in Swallow You Whole...like bro can you pls make up your mind?

I must say after infamous gangrape the conversation that Minho and Wookyung had in Ch31 was so satisfactory. Wookyung finally tasted his own medicine and realized what he had done to Minho was no difference than those scumbags even it's in a name of "love". I like how the art was depicted during this conversation, their facial expressions and the contrast of light and shadow, showing unresolved tension, disgust and desperation between these two.
My ideal ending for this story would be Minho died and Wookyung lived in a loop of endless regret and emptiness or Minho in the end rebuild his own life, finds someone who truely loves him and have a happy life while Wookyung watched them from the back with regrets. But well, I guess ending with co-dependence relationship maybe the closest one to the core of this story.
Catching feelings, fine, gay awakening, sure, but what is more important than having a good damn fxck in apocalypse bro? Just go get him and Guwon will be yours in no time im sure, you have nothing to lose *fingers crossed for some delicious r19 in coming chapters*
Why do i smell one-sided love tag on Jinwoo? He realizes he actually desires/likes Guwon, but judging by what Guwon says he hope one day he could find someone like Jinwoo, the feelings Guwon has right now toward Jinwoo is more platonic?

Red flag or not, it's just satisfactory seeing MC and ML have proper communication in this early stage I thought Jiwon will brush off the ring topic but he actually clear the air by telling Guwon his thought, whether it's due to him feeling guilty for Guwon's innocence/lack of social cues, at least they sorta share some healthy dose of honesty between each other. Not to mention the hierarchy enforced in the town seems to be blurring when Jiwon is involved, Guwon actually tries to give Jiwon a special treatment if not the other dude reminds him his "fairness" rule. It would be interest to see when MC and ML getting closer, how Guwon is willing to give in his rule for Jiwon, coz we know love makes ppl blind ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

That puppy line from Guwon just caught me off guard, it's exactly like what the title suggests "The hounds of sisyphus", Guwon/Sisyphus is a king/master in this "kingdom" and the town ppl are his "hounds". The hounds are dominant by Guwon's power and they could be removed/killed once they lose their function or couldn't contribute anymore. I guess Guwon likes his hounds and are low-key aware of them keeping their distance from him. That's why he is so fond of MC who is acting like a fearless, naive puppy who shows affection to him and treats him like equal?

They probably witnessed how ML killed those "useless" ppl (real human, not maggots) in town and replaced them with someone else to build his idea community? That's why both of them fear ML and have that sort of reaction? Other ppl don't seem to be scared of ML that much, they even greet him normally like the guy they met before joining the dinner?
Just a thought coz that vet has a weird reaction when MC asked about ppl who originally lived in the town in Ch2.
