Can someone explain what the imagery I jiri on the train tracks was signifying? Is he moving on or is he becoming even more isolated?
I can’t wait for season 2 where we learn more about his backstory!!

Here is my take on it: in ch21, we see Yuri on the tracks alone saying "the train tracks he walks on is smooth" before describing his daily life of being in class, eating with friends and studying. I think in that chapter he talks about how his "independence" is more like "isolation". He is just kind of going through the motions of life undisturbed until Jiri enters the picture. Jiri stirs up the emotions inside of him. In the end they are both on the train tracks. Yuri is no longer alone and there is a mutual understanding between himself and Jiri. They are the same, walking on the same path, both suffering from an unrequited love.

Yes yes i thought the same too! Jiri is on his track now. Actually the Author already stated in Q&A, yuri is not fond of eating with others (or people give him food) because it means that he forms a bond with that person and he doesn't like it. He only eats the food that yohan makes him. And we can see in previous chapters we can see he repeatedly refused the food or drink given by jiri but in last chapter he accepted jiri's offer and eventually he ate the food. I think that was also a metaphor where Yuri finally opens his heart for jiri (even it wasn't romantically yet)

I’m on chap 9 and I’m spilling tears. I find it so crazy how this manga is able to produce so many emotions seamlessly and with what seems like little effort. Sekine has touched my heart and I wish for his happiness! I’m excited to keep reading this!

Update: I’m mentally exhausted from binge reading this. I didn’t know I would get so emotionally attached to the point where I was whisper screaming and crying (in the middle of the night). I understand everyone’s struggle to get through it because I wanted to walk away so many times, but pushing through made it worth it. If anyone can recommend me another story like this I would greatly appreciate because it’s a hidden gem!

*jaw drops to floor, eyes pop out of sockets accompanied by trumpets, heart beats out of chest, awooga awooga sound effect, pulls chain on train whistle that has appeared next to head as steam blows out, slams fists on table, rattling any plates, bowls or silverware, whistles loudly, fireworks shoot from top of head, pants loudly as tongue hangs out of mouth, wipes comically large bead of sweat from forehead, clears throat, straightens tie, combs hair*
That’s some good stuff

Hi Im thinking of reading this, but I’m not sure if it’s really my taste cause I get a kind of shotacon vibe from it... I just want some genuine opinions on the story cause the age gap is a little off putting to me. Should I start it?

You don't need to worry about the gap, cz the older is keeping it platonic until the younger is if agreeable age
I thought it would make me uncomfortable with all the stuff, but actually I liked the approach of relationship, cz I'm just gonna say adults are acting the way they are suppose to (at least most fo the time)
He's jys keeping ren close but not too close until ren is old (an adult) enough to make his own decisions towards this relabsionship
Can someone explain what is happening in the raws rn? It’s still angsty, but it looks angsty angsty with the latest update (⊙…⊙ )
