His hatred basically stopped as soon as he fell in love with the mc and realized the mc’s identity. He valued his relationship with mc more than his revenge.

This by no means a light story. There is no fluff and romance. Its a dark one with a killer plot. When I said the uke is not spineless idiot and the its written pretty well, I wasn't lying. If you are not a fan of dark settings I wouldn't recommend it.
