Hmm. Not nearly even there yet. The lack of chemistry is GOOD, y'all. If KD had any chemistry despite being treated so badly, you'd be here raising hell about how weak he was. He's depressed, beaten down by life BUT is beginning to stand up for himself. As for the pile of muscles, at least he's starting to finally reflect on his actions. He's got a long way to go until he becomes a normal human being but caring about someone other than himself will help. He was an abused, angry piece of shit his entire life and had an equally rough coach - hasn't really had the best role-models in life. I think it's silly to suddenly expect selflessness or gentleness or thank-yous right now. He's beginning to show that he's actually thinking about KD as more than a tool in the only way he can right now. He knows KD is basically done with him, so he's manipulating him the only way is really possible to get him into treatment. That's how people work. They either grow and fix their mistakes or they just break it off and move on. I think EVERYONE here knows who the 2 MLs are, this is their story, no one is suddenly going to pop out of the woodwork, so chill.
God, they have the most authentic relationship ever. I LOVE IT!!!!!
HE needs to speed up his machinations behind mommy's back, fr fr. SHE needs to go abroad and then see if this Bullshit family is even worth her time. Trifling hoes like her maybe-MIL-to-be are no joke, that shit breaks up marriages.
Just biding my time until they inevitably find out Dawn is a princess or duchess, the fat guy loses his OTHER eye and preferably his life (slowly though) and the red-haired brat gets absolutely nothing she wants and ends up in a nunnery for pissing of her brother one too many times.
Agree with most comments. But at the same time, if everything was swiftly resolved, it would feel rushed. I just savor every time one of the maids get offed while we patiently wait. When the so-called-king meets his maker - now that, that will be sweet. This novel is turning me into a bloodthirsty animal lmao
Blast. That. Whiny. Bitch. Into. The. Stratosphere. (or I will).
Yall know how this is gonna go. Mumsie will threaten her family/tell her he doesn't actually like her/to step aside for his future if she really loves him/blah blah, her son gonna act a fool, ending up in a stupidly compromising situation mumsie set up when FL walks in, she'll feel betrayed & see it as confirmation of what mumsie said, get pissed/heartbroken and fly off to study abroad and come back a worldly woman with a steel heart, set on never letting him/anyone hurt her, he'll act like he didn't know mumsie is a spiteful witch that drove the girl away until that hoe slips up right in front of him, he'll have an epiphany etc etc etc
This is beautiful. Tragic, painful and beautiful. The author is on point with everything. Don't read this if you can't handle non-simplistic psychological dynamics.
If she ends up with that insufferable, overindulged monster of a "price" I will throw hands. This is too much of a suspension of disbelief. After all he's done to her and everyone else, if she doesn't kill him with her bare hands and watch him bleed while laughing over his corpse, peace out. I like the Count, he had potential - politically savvy, good looking, even keeled, that's what that country needs, not that green-eyed psychopath.
Mediocre art at BEST and shit plot. Maybe I could have gotten over the plot had the art been better but the ML is an objectively fugly, manipulative piece of shit who's barely any better than all the other male trash surrounding this poor chick. She's naive AF and abused by her father. It's a hard pass for me, dropping.
Raining men! Hallelujah! It's raining men! Amen!! Lmao, jesus is she gonna collect one from every land? I'm trying so hard to stick with story but damn it's getting repetitive. Can we have a breakthru?!
Whew he so damn FOINE! But fr fr, he's a little too chill about his chick getting the wrong impression about everything. Sis, fucking GO abroad and light the fire under his ass to kick mommy to the curb, that hoe is getting on my last damn nerve.
Imagine being SO threatened as to harass a MANHWA author about depicting things that will PROBABLY TURN OUT IN THIS EXACT WAY IN THE FUTURE GIVEN EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT THAT COUNTRY. Just ... imagine that level of fragility. On pins in needles
about The People seeing past the regime's facade, eh? Pathetic.
