She should have never asked to be more than a friend AT THAT MOMENT and could try later. And because she did that immediately well... Well, she didn't force him to agree to a relationship, and stood up for him. She took care of him and his ailing mother for 10 years, when he was always a willing participant in the relationship. Yes but that is exactly what Nami’s wrong for! I get that she has been helping Don for the longest time and even allows him to use her but she never gave him space in the beginning! She quickly decided to just ask him out when Don just experienced a heartbreak without letting him get over it! In my opinion, if she let him get over his past relationship first, then she would have had a better chance and reason to be with Don! But that doesn’t mean I ship Don with Nami because I feel like Nami doesn’t deserve to be with a person who doesn’t love her wholeheartedly! Nami should find someone who will truly love her for her and not for the sake of getting over someone else! And I feel like if Don and Haero were honest to eachother to begin with, Nami wouldn’t have to feel pain that will most likely come soon!!! I think that might not have been the case.. after being dumped by his lover and discovering all of a sudden that his mom's health took a turn for the worse, while having no means to sustain his family without quitting his passion....i believe nami, by defending him for his sexuality, and supporting him through what was the hardest time of his life...probably saved his sanity. He might not be the happiest person on the planet, but her presence definitely prevented from anything worse happening to him
She could have done all that while being his friend and thats my problem with her.
