I love how the seme is an actual gay. Sorry,somehow this really made me..uhm happy? I dont know the english word.but yeah. Most of the yaois ive read somehow or the other suggest the character/s is/are not gay, and just happen to love a man. In that angle, im cool with it. But it's refreshing that the seme here (cause most admitted gay characters ive read before were ukes) admits he's gay. ^^
The plot is okay. 7.5 out of 10. Maybe ill rate it higher if its longer. Tsubasa being a wee bit maure. Or maybe he's in college. :D Nevetheless, i enjoyed reading this. For the title 'Hidoi Otoko' he's not so bad. :)
Those who say Maki isn't such a bad guy haven't experience what's it's like to be cheated and wait. If he told him he'll get married and move out, Hayama would understand that and be happy for him. That's what i think. But no, he had to hurt him like hell. Good thing he found love,. Maki better treat his wife good. The lady doesn't have an idea what a scumbag he is.
There's a bit of hypocrisy in the yaoi fandom in this regard. When its a guy cheating on a guy its realistic, part of life, forgivable, *insert handwave here* I suspect that attitude exists because most readers are female and can safely read it without relating. If this happened to a girl virtually no one would defend the cheater.
I agree with you. I just don't like the cheating angle in any genre basically. that and the 'rape equates love' in yaoi. I've read far too many and i'm happy to say that these type of stories are diminishing over time. but then again, i don't blame anyone nor judge anyone who fancies those kinds of stuff. it all boils down to taste. In this story, i stand by what i said though. Maki is a scumbag. he could have ended it differently but choose the harshest breakup ever. let the man wait, send him the happy wedding photo.. he also cheated on his current wife. poor woman. Even if the author tell Maki's POV, it just doesn't appeal to me. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Yeah man, I'm a gay man and if my boyfriend cheated on me I'd be broken as fuck. It's a dick thing to do, okay? Even as someone in a poly relationship I'd be fucking upset if my lover slept with someone without telling me yo.
Spoilers;
Though sensei was the first love, and loveable character too, i can see why she choose mamura.
-sensei was trying to do the adult thing and not date, right? But in the end he did. He was friends with the uncle, if he really placed chunchun's future first, he should've told the uncle his intentions. He's a good guy, i believed the uncle would understand. Or at least told chunchun what he meant. SHE'S A TEEN. She wouldn't understand the noble thing behind it. It would looked like he was just trying to save his ass from being fired.
-he also left a girl he was dating alone, on xmas eve, in the middle of the night! He can't leave because of work?? Then set your priorities straight. Cancel properly and apologize. He could have excused himself from the party and come back after he met her,but no. That was irresponsible. Not only that, he was indecisive, going back and forth yet not really dismissing her entirely. That can be brutal..
-when he broke up with her, her finally moving on, what did sensei did?? That's right, he acted real immature and competed with the new guy. Confusing the girl he casually broke up with. Jealousy? Yes, i can understand. How about he talk things out first then? Was that not an option?
Sensei maybe the loveable character here,and i honestly liked him from the start.. But Mamura has been there for her, constantly. He also gave her space when she needed to think. Mamura was way mature than sensei. And i'm glad she didn't pick sensei,cause that's picking the 'bad for your health guy' shoujo manga route.
Though, i really want sensei to have his own story too. Have his own happiness. Dont get me wrong.. I do like him as a character, just Mamura was so right for Suzume
That cat form is freaking cute. His body barely fits with that bag thing. Haha (=・ω・=)
Ikr I love the idea. Real cat uke omg cuteee.
