Art is gorgeous. Sexy scenes are steamy. But plot is cliché. Predictable. Relies on drama to keep the story going.
The characters I feel are interestingly derived from the typical but well done. For example, ML is an interesting take at the usual “high school rich guy who is an asshole and thinks owns the world” since he actually has morals and his “sob story” is properly introduced in relation to his behaviour (rather than an excuse). As well as how he early on understands his issues and starts working on himself. Also MC isn’t a white lotus (or Gary Sur or perfect cutie whatever—) he’s obviously flawed and cowardly as well as having a more selfish way of decision making and seeing the world.
Anyways I mainly enjoy this story because I’m curious to see how far they can push these differences and how they will interact in cliche and non-cliche scenarios!
