I think the first chapter was a flashback, and Jesse now has amnesia. For whatever reason, Rull is either 1) messing with him, 2) doing some sort of experiment, 3) something else. Not really sure what at this point. That's the mystery.

We read too much about yaoi like this where the other party all of a sudden realises that he's in love too, they fuck & it ends happily. In this case, a person he possibly considered a brother pushed him down & rode him like a woman, something that never crossed his mind. I don't think his reaction is unjust at all.
