According to the previous timeline, he lost at tournament to Lithera and then his eyes were removed as a show of mercy since she didn't want him dead while also trying to make Everett believe Javier wasn't a threat. After that, Monila plead loyalty to Lithera while Javier stayed by Monila for the rest of his life. He's still with Monila even after they turned into demons as shown in Ch.94
