In jigu's pov, yeowoon has been flirting with him For A While (yes, he was overly misinterpreting the offer to come over & being nice, but bro hasn't had a friend irl Ever, so yk). And as far as he's concerned, yeowoon is also in a sm relationship with the friend. He hears over the phone someone call him "boss" and immediately jumps to the conclusion of it being one of his "playmates". Obviously, he wouldn't think bro got a promo that quickly (yeowoon has mentioned the oddness of the company promoting ways).
