Tldr, the flashback pretty much sums up that MC and ML were childhood friends of some sort, MC's twin died (maybe due to blood loss from having his tongue cut off), abduction of kids to use them for sexual exploitation. The part where kid!ML staring at the wall with the handkerchief was where the time he stole money for the sick twin only to come back and saw them gone (the time where this woman approached them).
The warnings helped me piece the clue together and just the implications left me feeling disgusted.
I look this up and got a brief explanation what actually went down. I knew Yorishige would die at some point but ugh.... Huhuhu, it doesn't hurt any less.
He's actually one of my faves... I'm still around chapter 116, I'm quite hoping he'll make an appearance even as a ghost and even id doesn't interact with any characters... Just his presence will be enough （/TДT)/

Does ML and the girls are in some sort of pretend/practice relationship? Is this what's truly happening??? Like the girls also knew ML's feelings for MC and it's more like, ML will have some companions, at the same time, the girls have an eye candy pretend boyfriend, cuz it seems like one of them easily let go of him after finding a new one. The ex is not even bitter, the girls are even concerned for him.
But no matter what, i feel bad for MC... If you truly want a companion, you have this devoted friend of yours where he doesn't even mind your clingyness man... Bruuuuh
