im recommending one lighter (?) story and one darker for people to try. either way, they're both very good and deserved to be enjoyed equally. my main gripe with darker romance (and this is not only a Bl problem) is the oversaturation of certain tropes and detrimental messaging. How do u try to fall asleep when u need to?

I have really bad insomnia so I understand the pain of just rolling around until you finally drift off. I typically get comfortable and start a breath exercise. I breathe in for five counts, hold my seven counts, and exhale for five. You can change it for whatever you're comfortable with. Sometimes that doesn't help so I decide to play a word assoc......   reply

i mean ik till was going to die. i honestly saw no chance in hell of him surviving considering that he was the “rebellious one”. in order to build stakes and heighten tragedy, characters like this typically have to die because their very existence is hostile to the status quo. ik this logically, but it didn’t make it any less heart wrenching ......   reply
