do we have 'Hedgehog and Contrast' here? the ml is white haired and the mc looks like he came out of shoujo manga lol

To be honest, I thought this was good but there were a couple of things that kept it from being a winner for me:
First was the weird pacing issue, with the first 50 chapters of so being super laid back and then the last 30 chapters speeding up the plot like a freight train. I understand that they did that to establish their relationship well before getting on with the plot, but they could have taken some more time to develop the plot, or pepper it over the first part, so that it wasn't such an abrupt divide between the two.
The second is the heroine. Man, this really made me realize that I'm too old to read shoujo at this point. Man, I found her naivety and stupidity so freaking frustrating it almost had me crawling up the walls. I understand she's meant to be the bright-eyed idealist who teaches the world about equality but her utter lack of any kind of sense in this new world really got on my nerves. We've had slavery in the human world for millennia, how are you so f*cking oblivious to it and what it represents? Her constant yappering about not being a pet and boo-hoo and poor me is so annoying, because even though she whines she doesn't do anything to get out of her current position, except for a couple of half-assed escape attempts, that vanish the moment the hunky rich boy starts paying her some attention. She became a more interesting character by the end of it, but honestly I barely even cared anymore, I just wanted it to end so I could move on to something else.
Any of the secondary couples in this manhwa (Jeow x Samo, Peach x Rowie, even Paw x Lynn) would be more interesting to follow, which I think it's a real shame, because I loved Caesar as a character. I just wish he had a more interesting heroine by his side, instead of a doormat.
