i think a lot of y’all are forgetting that deeply rooted trauma (ptsd especially) causes people to lash out and act certain ways other people may deem as inappropriate. however, if you truly think about it, winter has only just now gotten the courage to confide in a friend about what happened. then 5 seconds later someone he has feelings for and a bumpy relationship with suddenly knows? yeah, i think his actions are justified. people with severe trauma aren’t going to sit down and communicate properly over tea at the beginning of their recovery.
we’ve known for awhile this bl goes in depth on winter overcoming his trauma and learning to heal. its incredibly slow paced. i dont think thats going to suddenly change with the main couple getting together in the next 2 chapters. waiting till its finished may be less frustrating for some people. thats what im going to do. i quite like the plot a lot, the author has a great vision, but i think it’ll be a much smoother read when its not a whole lotta nothin each week lol
author definitely has a rape kink cause how is there not a single consensual scene and we’re near 50 chs? thought all that was finally over with ray regaining power and jiskar starting to show respect towards him (little of it, tbf), but clearly all that development was for nothing.
i’m going to have to drop this one, the noncon ruins whatever remnants this story has of turning out decent.
That’s what I’m saying
