I read the novel and i personally think the story is normal paced (not really slow), the manhua also just barely started, it only has 12 chapters (and every chapter is short, 12 chapters of this manhua can be combined to only 6 chapters in normal manga/manhwa's chapter length), so i don't think the story is slow, maybe it's just the slow update (because the chapters are short, and you still have to wait to read next chapter, so you feel the story is slow when it's not)... you can read the novel here if you want : https://blackbox-tl.com/novels/so/
