all the comments blaming lili just imagine what she’s feeling tho. She basically (feels like she) has no family bc she took someone else’s body. She believes her sister only loves her bc she’s in the body of her sister. The only person she really has is Josh bc no one else is there for her like he is, and he loves her for who she is, not who she possesses. Right now their relationship is stable but if she accepts or rejects his feelings then their relationship will change and become unstable (Lili mentioning that she wants everything to stay the same). Josh IS her family & without him she’ll be alone.
Also even though Eiden stopped writing, he’s still someone close that Lili cherishes. Just because she once (maybe) had feelings for him doesn’t mean that she’ll ditch Josh. She recognizes that he can’t give her the stability she needs and considers a relationship with Josh once she knows that he will stay regardless. She’s just caught up in nostalgia and knows that if she doesn’t quickly redevelop her relationship with Eiden then it might be gone forever.
Hopefully the impulsivity given the situation doesn’t cause her to hurt Josh, but tbh she’s experiencing very normal human emotions and I don’t really blame her. It’s true that she’s more mature, but she’s constantly losing people close to her and she lacks that stability that she needs to get over her deep rooted fear.
