I know this sounds mean, but for the sake of the character development and plot, it makes absolutely no sense that she didn't die at the end of the 1st season. Dan is tethered and weighed down by her, literally everything he does, he does for her or the sake of someone else. He needs to be able to do things for himself...even she told him that!! It's great to be loyal, filial and to take care of your loved ones, but ffs don't be a doormat!!

I may have forgotten this part, but is their daughter adopted? Wasn't Haesoo a beta and can't give birth?

Here's the chapter all the way at the end I believe https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/love_is_an_illusion/uu/br_chapter-160690/pg-1/

I'm baffled by the amount of manhwa which predominantly contains sex as the story???? Like is it a trend to just write porn now?
I thought this one was going to actually showcase some aspects of idol life, or issues arising from him having to hide his omega identity... but the hidden identity was unfolded in like 2 chapters by most people around him and it was a device to lead to more sex.
I used to enjoy how it contained actual romance, or some action or some politics or drama...you know plot? Now, the majority of the focus is on the sex and building up sexual energy. I'm scared to start new manhwas out of fear for it to become just another story of sex.

I know some people are not finding them interesting but in my opinion I love that they are basically in completely different "leagues", it's so much more realistic because you can't help who you end up falling in love with. The difference between them creates harmony and makes them a lot more interesting as a couple! I also like how much less forced they are, like potato said something that really struck a chord with Heesung making him sway a little, and it really is like that in real life. Someone says something which attracts you to them, even if they aren't necessarily who you typically find physically appealing. Heesung was surprised by this, but didn't fall in love.
It kind of implies to me that Heesung isn't going to randomly fall in love again, and perhaps all this time he was never really in love with all those people, maybe he just had a crush, an infatuation, or maybe it was lust? But it makes it all the better that Heesung is confused by potato. Potato is a character that is not Heesung's type, and he is not someone Heesung is in love with. This makes it all the more real, and all the more likeable. I think potato may end up becoming Heesung's first ever true/real love.
That's just my take/predictions
her parents were so nice so I'm sure they don't put tough expectations on her and they seem so loving, and byul isn't exactly being mean to her so why did the author make her always so mean to him
I'm very curious about it, I'm really hoping it'll be addressed
Lol I don’t think she’s mean to him, they’re cousins aren’t they?
It's like a sibling relationship. They are not mean to each other. That's how siblings and cousins interact with each other
Hmmm weird I don’t really act like that with my siblings but I guess it must be different across different relationships…
Haha. Siblings act differently depending on on the culture I guess. Me and my sisters show we care about each other by fighting and annoying the hell out of each other ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
