Bruh she really is still rejecting him when shes literally seen that the story can change, but is still hung up about the original. Honestly she deserves to disappear with all her indecisiveness. Shes really the dumbest fl I have met, and I've seen some terrible ones but never where they are voided of logic like her.
I love when stories have side couples, or even minor couples shown for only a chapter. It's just so cute to have a sweet couple make an appearance, and their usually a different trope than the main characters. Like how this story has a poor butler and rich girl, but my personal favorite is knight and servant.
I usually love couples that are so deeply dependent on one another, that they would follow each other to the grave, but this is not it. She has no backbone towards him, she folded so easily to some petty words & tears, even apologized like its not his responsibilityto watch his own child. And he's just an overbearing crybaby, its literally your fault that child was kidnapped, you basically forgot about them after shes gone. I dont even think he would of been so willing to get their kid back if she wasnt there. God i thought this would be maybe a midly okay obsessive story, but it just gets more dumb as it progresses. Every character acts like they cant have a brain unless they are beside the fl, and at this point its annoying.
I have mixed feelings about this story as its adorable & cute , but many things are just rushed & messy. Like the dumb king causing most of the problems, to never telling her husband the crown prince hit on her, and the ml's logic towards not wanting to help the 2nd prince. It felt like trying to fit everything into the little chapters they had. But OMG! Liliana's parents' love story is so bittersweet & heartwarming. They instantly got me hooked and I wanted to see more of their relationship. Even though I know how it ends, I really wanted them to have a happy ending. Overall it was still a cutesy family drama that's fun to read, but I'll surely remember Everett & his wife, as they were the sweetest & ultimately the catalyst of the whole story.
Damn thought I could give the king the benefit of the doubt but it seems its turning into one of those Kings that knew everything the Queen does but does nothing to stop her, but will still talk shit to her. Which then makes her more angry at the wrong ppl, like did u really expect anything to be good once you say to your wife aye grab a mistress when it seems they really dont want one.
I already made many comments about my thoughts on the story and characters, which is I hate all of them, and it seems I hate them even more (expect fl i started to like her again). It took the FL long enough to accept he's a really person and how dumb the nobles are. And the Emperor’s words about "It not being the worst" annoyed the hell out of me. He's like the biggest villain here using the ml and then letting him get treated like shit by his ppl. Even though he has the power to try and change the situation, but he does basically nothing at all over the years. I only loved the ml in this story as he was the only sane one. He was crazy but like he knew & was honest about it. Though I did love & enjoy the chibis throughout the story, they were probably my favorite part.
The story is actually different than the typical villianess stories. But it's also not that dark, so it's an easy read. One thing I do hate is when they take the fluffy route with the punishment towards the villains. Like they basically just got sent to a maximum security prison even though they have killed/sacrificed ppl, impersonated nobility, manipulated everyone, and used forbidden magic.
I really can’t stand when it comes down to “they were cursed/manipulated and didn’t have control”. They still screwed over many lives that won’t be recovered and need to be accountable. Filbert losing his position and being disowned was a good idea if not still lenient. But everyone else? They deserved worse.
The ending was just abrupt and annoying. I still hate the ml and in fact I hate any ml with a passion that just lets go of the fl to push her to another option. It just boils my blood when the ml has no backbone towards the fl and just uses her. I did, however, like his eyepatch it was something different from a typical ml. I also loved the little discussion with the goddess at the end about how changing your role leads to changing to story in general. And I like how they did it by changing other characters into villians who originally weren't. As most stories I read every character stays in the same role but they make the events happen quicker than they should. Usually, they don't turn a good character evil to fulfill the empty role. So, that was a nice twist to have.

Once again, my love of side & minor couples is fueled. Theyre such an adorable & refreshing couple from the usual parents seen throughout stories. I love when the parents are so head over heels for one another.
