Where do all these female psychos always come from? I've always wondered where the "know your place" and similar bs comes from. Usually jealous females who are bullying the beautiful, just, and innocent female lead *gags* Is this something like a really bad example of the irrational unrequited love of women or something? Is there anywhere on this planet where this kind of behavior is considered normal? It's just so extremely stupid, I cannot imagine a sane person behaving like that.
Well, the obvious point to make here is that a sane person would NEVER do that because s/he is SANE. That's the difference.
But, as a female myself, I have encountered a lot of psycho-like women (of a variety of skin tones) who are entitled, pretentious, obnoxious, and somewhat insane by participating in bullying, the mistreatment of others, and thinking that the world literally revolves around them. I see so many radical feminists harping on men, but women are just as bad to their own gender and other genders. It's a balance of equal awfulness, in my opinion.
But does love or affection usually get this bad? I mean, this is like some of the more toxic fans I've had the good fortune to never interact with directly, but I thought that sort of psycho behavior generally comes from anonymity + group + audience. Also, I'm guessing they exaggerate bullying in manga and tv shows for dramatic effect, because the worst bullying I've seen has mostly been gossip. Though that can be pretty hurtful, it's probably not as bad as people conspiring to break your bones. Maybe I've just been extremely fortunate with the people I've met IRL.
Not denying the entitled, pretentious, obnoxious and self centered parts though. I've seen far too much of that. Gets even worse when they refuse to admit when they're wrong.
I think it depends. Behavioral issues do vary from person to person, whether it's a genetic hand-me-down, a mental problem stemmed from trauma, or even from what is taught (or not taught) in a household. Of course a lot of people get more aggressive when they do have anonymity, but jealousy and envy can and often do spark violent fits/ psycho behavior in women because women are more emotionally-charged than men (in most circumstances). As an example, it's not often we hear of two guys ripping into each other because of a girl they both really like versus two women getting into a fight over a guy they're both crazy over.
I've been bullied by mostly females growing up, and I have experienced abuse from my own mother even though she loves and cares for me. My older sister was the cause of the abuse, but she never admits to it and always plays it off like it wasn't a big deal. I'm usually very cautious of my own gender because of how it affected me, but I try to see things from different points of view.
Another example of crazy, psychotic behavior is female fans with their male idols. I don't know how many times I've been alarmed by fans that have literally attacked their fellow fans to get closer to the guys they like. The stampede to get into a concert of The Who (a British rock band) killed 11 fans in 1979. Honestly, that's terrifying because I don't believe most women's EQ (Emotional IQ) has gotten any higher since then, unless they went through trial and error in their life to make them more humble. In a society where it's okay to baby people, no one is going to get mentally tougher and learn to control their emotions to a healthy degree. What's going on then and even now is that people let their emotions run wild with toxic behaviors included.
Of course, not everyone does this, but a vast majority does even if it doesn't appear readily obvious. I have fallen victim to toxic behaviors and I have done it to others too in the midst of trying to defend myself. No one's perfect and everyone makes mistakes. The best thing we can hope to achieve is peaceful neutrality more than anything else at this point.
I hope this all made some sense to you, if at all.
I never said it was normal. I'm just saying that women do react in such an insane way from time to time, whether it's something they gained from trauma (where she got hurt by a guy or a family member), a genetic issue, often emotional immaturity (also known as EQ for a form of emotional intelligence), or even just because their hormones are out of wack.
