It's more realistic

Even though it's mean and hurtful, many people don't realize what's good until it's gone. Also, it gives a more realistic plot line rather than a love at first sight or a one night stand couple randomly falls for each other. It seems realistic to have a speed bump or two. It makes it more interesting and ya'll know ur coming back when it gets updated lolヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
