actually he did. V.B. is actually a really cool character, but I know (that whole arc is confusing, but it is very interesting) but all I can figure is that Shinobu - who has his own issues stemming from childhood - is so despondent from thinking that he disappointed his father (who I think had absolutely nothing to do with him until this job), that he lost it and attacked V.B. That line he says as he cut V.B. about never should have come into/been born, that's how he feels about himself (especially with his father and sister Makio) That's what I'm getting from all this lol :)

I've taken a look at the raws, and coming from the fact that he actually tries to kill VB right after he finds out that another person's going to take on his job of teaching VB, it gets really confusing. Sometimes I think, just like you said, that he snaped, on the other hand, I also think that the two of them might have come up with something for him to act like that, but there's still this strange aura around them when they meet with each other, and if I'm not mistaken, in the raws, there's a scene with Shinobu hurt instead of VB... I really want to see more of them （/TДT)/ and just as you said, VB is an awesome character ヾ(☆▽☆)

looking at it, it is a tad confusing, but it seems that shinobu was feeling rejected due to family issues while vb was falling in love. since they were going to be seperated they decided to try one last insane idea to try to get vb to be able to leave the manison, they failed, shinobu thought he killed his love (which them fallin in love is the most confusing part) only to get surprised by him years later and happily go to him after realizing he didn't kill his love only motivate him to come after him. pretty much it took vb that long to get his butt together, but he still kept tabs on his love.

I like that idea way more <3 it is more interesting to think that they tried to work a way for VB to leave his cage. Need to see the translation to check what else they'll be talking about to explain this part, there are a few more chapters around the two of them that might me able to explain what really happened. Though when coming back to VB, Shinobu has a kind of scared look that makes it all looks like VB is some kind of sick psycho and Shinobu is caught in his trap (not that I have something against it either kkkkkk)

i am just reading between the lines differently than you. But yeah VB kinda acts like a psycho or like a person whom just has one landline in their life and are clinging onto it like a madman. to me that scared look of shinobu seemed to be rather short lived and he was so willing to go to VB's arms that it seems like my idea from above at least to me, but I can see your crazy trapped thing too.

I also think that Shinobu was kinda taken by surprise to see VB still alive, and considering that ever since the begining, VB was shown as one really powerful char, even after his almost-death, he gives off that vibe of a really powerfull character, kinda scary and bossy. Anyway, I just want the two of them to be together, that would make my life better (≧∀≦)

I'll try to give some information (I'll warn you I'm not very good at it you can ask me question if it's not clear ) The story continues it goes back-and-forth to paint a bigger picture with a little information to keep you hooked ╮(￣▽￣)╭
actually VB is very powerful he is in the top of the pyramid as a half merman he is like a (king or prince still to be determined) they both love each other and VB wants to protect his beloved shinobu from anybody that wants to Hurt him dut he is like a ruler with corrupt generals that use his power to seek more power to keep being in the top of the pyramid and to use it to control everybody under them.
And shinobu he tortured himself thinking that he killed VB and was relieved to see him doing well since after that incident they weren't allowed to meet. but no matter how much they love each other or how hard VB tries to bridge the gap shinobu still can't defy his father

You just saved my life with that explanation! <3 I ADORE YOU kkkkkkkkkk I kinda imagined something around that, but I still don't know clearly why Shinobu tried to kill VB, was it on his father's order? Do you know anything else on it? Or as was said before, it was an atempt to runaway from that prison?

Actually they were happy together but because of politics his father decided to have makio train VB and shinobu just snapped

Ah, I was kinda confused by that too. :D
But in Japanese the term "I like you" is used to refer to a crush and good friends. I think Yoshinaga's "I like you" to Seki and Hasegawa was really just the friendship kind of "like".
His love interest is probably still only Kyousuke. (●￣(ｴ)￣●)

he likes seki as a friend. that is pretty much it...

At the moment Yoshinaga really values Seki as just a friend but feels guilty that his relatively new friend knows his biggest secret while Seki is kept in the dark. On that note, I hope Yoshinaga's affection does move to Seki, while he and Hasegawa remain good friends (●'◡'●)ﾉ

Thank u~~ now I get what happened, I didn't know all that chapter was about Yoshinaga's feelings towards not telling Seki, now I can see it better hahaha, maybe I was just tired when read it and got the wrong idea~~ I hope he likes Seki too, and Hasegawa stays with Kyousuke and it's gonna be the first manga ever where the protagonists are just friends hahaha, that sounds interesting ヾ(☆▽☆)

The talk at the end of chapter 3 was with the two brothers I think about Yuri going to stay over with Hiromi for a work study. They mentioned this in chapter 2 about how Hiromi wanted Yuri to come work for him for a bit. Yuri decided to do it to prove to himself that Aki-nii would still be there even if he was away. He was probably only gone for a few weeks at most.

and the other question, do the 2 brothers love each other? at least the younger one seem to love the older one in a diff way than brothers or am i wrong?
