If I'm not mistaken, Kaoru can't see his own string, but he can see the others', that's why he can cut them. Apparently, due to his power, it was supposed he didn't have a string of his own. Buttt, just as you (dear translator), I've read the beginning a long time ago, might be wrong
He doesn’t have one. That’s the price he pays for his ability to see all the strings and to cut them. He was able to see the top’s string connect, that’s when he started to run away a bit.
The other story the bottom sees I believe just red string.

Btw, you're probably referring to Arako from Akai Ito... He can see the strings but can't touch them. Unlike Kaoru, he has the string connected to the ML of Akai Ito.

It's quite interesting that people are trying new things on the "omegaverse" plot, but it really got me down here on that lame explanation for a universe BDSM-based. Specially because they automaticaly relate the sub to the masochist, and the Dom to the sadist, and that is NOT the usual case in BDSM community or the D/s relationship (although, obviously, you have Dom's that are s's and sub's that are m's).
Just thought of bringing that out, because it wasn't bad enough that people all over the world started to think that all there is to BDSM is 50 shades ofGgray, now everyone is just gonna have another misconception of the BDSM community and just... no. Really, no. That's bad, guys. Wanna make a BDSM-verse? Fine, just go with it, it's gonna be awesome, but DO NOT mess up the concepts inside the community. You know, go and watch the Secretary, at least, instead of start thinking that Dom is all about sadism and sub is all about masochism.
(P.S.: I know that there are people aware of how the BDSM community works, and they'll just take it as a joke as I do, but on the other hand, a whole lot of people new to this world will just think that's what actually goes on usually).

I don't believe the artist is gonna follow the same scene from the novel, but I'd expect at least another scene as perfect and full of feelings as the one from the novel. And I still don't understand why the artist decided to disappear with the scene with claude and the magic circle that locks Athy, because even after all the angst chptrs, it was still plausible, which leaves me greatly disappointed with that lame excuse for a meeting that they both had
I used to not have much against Jennette. She is a poor girl that was forbiden to get in touch with anyone her whole life for the sake of coming out as Claude's daughter when the time was right. Can't blame her for being naive and expecting, through her whole life, to be recognized as such (which she is not, just to make things clear). Of course she would get real excited, in an innocent manner, to be close to the princess, which she was made to believe was her sister, and then she could really have a family of her own.
What upsets me the most about her possessive attitude these last few chapters (because, cmon, she's so overjoyed by the fact that the princess trusts her with a big secret and that the emperor is so interested in having her company, as if he actually liked her as a daughter), is that despite thinking Athy is a precious friend, she doesn't take Athy's feelings into consideration at ALL. And, come on, there is a limit to how stupid and naive you can act. After all, Athy may not show this, but she is suffering from the fact that Claude has completely forgotten her as his daughter, and then Jennette comes and finds it very pleasant and acceptable to be visiting Claude over and over, knowing how this might hurt Athy? That's such a nice friend for you, right? So extremely disapointed in you, Jennette, and right now, I hope you rot in hell. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I usually go for the "second couple rule", where the second couple in a BL story is more interesting... but this one is not working for me right now. I would like it if the author would keep up with the main couple, but showed some scenes and developments of the second couple (just like in 19 days, or BJ Alex), but it's like the author completely forgot the mc, and I didn't buy these other two due to the shallow introduction and development, so...... sad, it fell on my ratings ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Agreed. Second couples tend to be more interesting because they demonstrate what the first couple is restricted in. But yuyang and lihuan are pretty unique considering their personalities. They're not the cliche cold and aggressive "dominant" or weak and docile "submissive."
