I can't decide if they are the most beautifully breathtaking confession of love or the selfish absolving of guilt by a dying narcissist. "You are her child and that means you are mine." A declaration of love that transcends bloodlines or the deathbed confession ensuring this 'son' must forgive the father despite years of deceit and abuse? I know how it was meant (loving declaration) yet it still seems fitting that he would be so selfish even in death considering who he was in life.

We all saw it coming from the minute he told of his trauma. That being said, I enjoy the implied timeline of events. Soulmates drawn to one another are both traumatized by their natural instincts, Omega gets buff to protect himself and works at a brothel giving Alpha's an outlet while empowering himself through choosing to do so, Alpha swears off Omegas so as to never victimize another and works hard to create a medicine to prevent this outcome for others. Yet, somehow, they're drawn to each other again by the undeniable attraction of their pheromones...a scent that lets them know instinctual that they are compatible. Of course, if this new product works in lessening the effects of estrus then it could potentially rob future soulmates of their ability to instinctually identify the bond.

No questions about how he's supposed to carry a baby. No concern about the memories this God erased. No confusion about how he was apparently by water. Immediately begins to panic about what daddy is going to say. Sounds like a bride to me.
