Specifically, I'm trying to find an place appropriate for young language learners as my 10 year old has participated in a French immersion school for 6 years now but due to conflicts with a solitary professor it seems I'm soon to be home schooling him instead.
I speak no French whatsoever and plan to incorporate the language into our 'class time' by having him teach me but I also want him to be able to use the language and grow his knowledge so as not to have wasted these past 6 years.
The subject is open for alternative suggestions as well so please include anything that might be relevant. I'm sure there are countless users on this site trying to practice a new language who are older and don't have the same 'wholesome' concerns as mine.
Thanks in advanced!

There you go! I know many people that use it for Japanese.
Well, thank you! I wish I could take credit for his ability to just absorb information but considering my 3 year old child is noticeably delayed for no other reason than she had no interest in learning to walk/talk/feed herself/etc until she felt like it and my 2 year old is almost exactly on level in everything, I've come to the conclusion that kids just are who they are. Sure, genetics and the way they're raised play a role but kids who have all that in common can still be effected by it in completely different ways.
Truth be told there are so many of these 'moments' for me when reading that I could go on all day about intricate little details but a powerful one that spoke to me months ago was a statement from 'Crushed' that is the MCs reaction to bullying following someone outing him in a boys only school.
"I'm not ashamed to be gay and I won't change. They think that they know your weakness and try to hurt you with that. I know pretty well what this is about! They're just frustrated that I have sex and say so openly. We're in an age where everyone wants to date and have intercourse and they can't have that here. So that I'm not 'above' them...I was made into the girl."
On the one hand, it reminds me that it is still all to common for homosexual men to be demeaned by being called feminine names or treated like they can't do things 'real men' do but also even the seemingly acceptable homophobic remarks that we've become desensitized to like asking gay couples which of them is the girl in the relationship.
On the other hand, I recall that the first time reading through it made me stop and read the whole scene again letting it sink in that the very reason gay men are equated to women is to establish that power and dominance over an inferior human being. As a woman, it hurt to finally understand that.
And on my third hand that I keep tucked away for special occasions, I could literally feel the pulling of my heart heartstrings over a fictional character whom I would later realize a barely knew.
Sometimes...something just really sticks with you.
Allow me
1 GOLDEN DAYS ( the scene where Jin had the dark night at the very last end and when he said “I wanted to create a better world for u to live in” ) <<<< everything in this manga tbh
2 Life senjou no bokura (the scene when he was in the hospital and opened the door only to find a road with marks that led him to heaven where his lover was waiting for him ) <<<<that got me TBH

I believe that I'll look super awesome in black leather while wielding a flogger...until its time to use it and I'm all, "Was that too hard? It looks red! Imma be right back with an ice pack sweetie...don't die!"
I assume some sexy nurse/patient stuff ensues after that.
Gotta change outfits.
Find the rectal thermometer.
Hmm...i like where this is going. You've convinced me.
Anticlimactic?
