However, I just don't like Alek for Hyun. They're not very "compatible" to me. They can barely carry a conversation when together and it's hard for Hyun to be himself and speak freely.
I enjoy the dynamic between Hyun and Ivan much better and they are very compatible to me. I'll just say it...TEAM IVAN!

Does ANYONE else feel that certain parts of the story jump around too quickly and that it's a bit confusing at times? Sometimes I can't tell the difference between reality and Hyun's daydreams/thoughts. I love the manga, but it might just be me.
Like that "shirt sex" scene with Hyun and Alek..then it jump cuts to a sex scene with Hyun and Ivan. It confuses me sometimes..

Well in 48 he realizes he loves dg but he can’t get the words out. Dg asks him in the rain “so you love me?” After Alex asks him to be sex friends again. (Alex kept thinkin “no what am I saying?!”) and just froze so dg said he can’t sleep with someone he doesn’t love , and he can’t love someone who doesn’t love him

Alot of manga, especially yaoi manga, portray a very unrealistic view of love, relationships, people and heartbreak. This manga is a very accurate depiction of REAL human emotion and personality. I have met MANY people similar to Jiwon in my own life: distant, cold, non-commital, manipulative, and having a very poor history when it comes to love and relationships. I also feel as though DG is a very relatable chatacter to how many of us are when blinded by love. I love this manga so much! Seriously..I love it. It is such a joy to watch DG and Alex grow as people.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/a7/u306809_50x50.jpg?2)
I agree. DG is very relatablenin real life. I think every one has been head over heels in love at one point in their lives. And the moving on part was such a struggle. Its torture. And you just find yourself coming back again. And there a real-life Alex to. When the time comes that they realize they hurt someone, its a little too late and the person they hurt already got broken.

I'm sorry, but there is just not enough room in this manga for BOTH COUPLES! Chanwoo/MD and Alex/DG need their OWN SEPERATE MANGA! These two couples are complete polar opposites and clash very badly with each other and with the plot in general. Sometimes having multiple couples works: (Nakamura Shungiku pulls it off nicely)..but multiple couples in this manga does not work AT ALL.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b9/u243255_50x50.jpg?2)
Its supposed to illustrate two work sex couples, and how differently they are from one another. One where both partners are open, and meet the needs of the other. Then the nightmare couple who are never honest with each other. Even when DG is open, he does so while drunk, and does the clumsiest job of it... but yeah the two stories dont flow together very well really...

Chanwoo and MD are hot and fun but they serve a purpose for this story. They're there to show us what kind of couple Jiwon and DG could be if only they got their shit together. It's not a coincidence that their vibe is different, that MD is also a BJ and that the side couple have kinky, sexy chemistry while also being exclusive (look you can have both!). It's also not a coincidence that they paired up after DG and Jiwon started seeing each other rather than before. Narratively speaking Chanwoo and MD are the only bridge between DG and Jiwon because school is over and they're no longer in contact. They're well adjusted and honest with each other in a way DG and Jiwon aren't, and they're in the same circle so they will know just how much DG and Jiwon are suffering respectively. Chanwoo has always served as the guy who gives DG practical love advice, and in a way it's always worked to push DG closer to his goals and help him figure himself out. MD by contrast is going to be a reminder of DG and the pain Jiwon caused him due to jealousy. They needed to be there because if they were their own separate story they would need a conflict that spoils their cute vibe now.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/ea/u413509_50x50.jpg?2)
Also sexually speaking I don't think the couples clash. Jiwon and DG aren't into BDSM, but they are into exhibitionism and have a dominant/submissive vibe. They like rough, vigorous sex. DG often leaves sore with bite marks and bruises which isn't uncommon in BDSM. There's even a hint of humiliation when Jiwon forces DG to say certain things (tell me you if you liked it) or comments on his sexual responsiveness (calling him sensitive and a perv). MD and Chanwoo just do this more honestly, with sex toes and bondage.

No..I think @BloodyTrollop hit the nail on the head more accurately. Chanwoo and MD are not there to show us what kind of couple Jiwon and DG could be. Do not forget the Chanwoo and MD have their own problems. They are not even a couple yet. Chanwoo is not actually attracted to MD and only agreed to the relationship after MD offered to bring on a younger 3rd party. Also, that MD has issues with long term male subs.
Chanwoo and MD have enough of their own character conflicts, best believe. Jiwon and DG will never be anything like Chanwoo and MD because they are complete polar opposites, with varying personalities. They are all completely unlike one another. Like @BloodyTrollop said, I think thid manga is just supposed to show the relationships between two completely different BJ's

We literally said the same thing so I'm not sure why BloodyTrollop supposedly hit the nail on the head but my response is wrong. You are being too literal. I don't expect Jiwon to get a whip and start beating DG dude. It's a metaphor. Their relationships (read healthy) can be similar, even if they personality wise are not.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/9e/u405719_50x50.jpg?2)
I wasn't only speaking in sexual terms in regards to why the couples clash. However, I do believe the couples clash sexually. Alex and DG don't give a dominant/submissive vibe. DG just has self-esteem issues and is in awe and admiration of his sex idol, Jiwon. He is also a victim of love, willing to do anything for Jiwon's favor and love. However, when he realizes this is going nowhere, he has no problem speaking his mind. Also, it quite common to like rough, vigorous sex and to bite, or even scratch during sex. Taliking dirty is also quite common as well..These things do not make a BDSM relationship.

The only thing I don't agree with in their response is that the two couples don't flow well together in this story. Beyond that what are we even arguing about if you agree with another person's similar reading?
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/ea/u413509_50x50.jpg?2)
We don't agree on anything about this story it seems other than that Chanwoo and MD are cute. I don't think you're actually reading what I'm saying either because I said those things are aspects ASPECTS of BDSM not that they ARE. Sigh. DG in Chapter 1 fantasizes about Alex saying he likes rough sex. That is not just some dude enamored of a BJ. Thats DG's fantasy. He likes Alex because he likes rough sex and fantasizes about that on his own too.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/9e/u405719_50x50.jpg?2)
You guys didn't imply the same thing. I don't think Chanwoo and MD are the couple that Jiwon and DG are supposed to aspire to be, or will end up being. I also was not talking sexually. Chanwoo and MD are Dom/Sub relationship, while Jiwon and DG are not. When i refer to Dom/Sub I am not just refferring to sex. I am reffering to how the couples regard one another, treat one another and see one another..which is different dynamic when in a Dom/Sub relationship.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/ea/u413509_50x50.jpg?2)
Whatever. You're not responding to what I said, you're responding to what you think I said, which you've considered yourself is somehow different than this line you just wrote: "I am reffering to how the couples regard one another, treat one another and see one another..which is different dynamic when in a Dom/Sub relationship."
Yeah. That's why I said it was different, that DG and MD aren't into BDSM but exhibit aspects of that sexually that jive well with Chanwoo and MD. I'm so over this though. I can't have a back and forth with someone where we're not discussing anything but bad "translations" of my words instead of what was actually said. Maybe something about the way I write rubs you wrong, I don't know. But you'e being argumentative just to be argumentative. I can understand you not liking this couple in this story, but I can't understand why when I tell you why I do you use my own arguments for why to make your points instead of coming up with your own in a way that I can at least say "well that makes sense"
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b9/u243255_50x50.jpg?2)
They're just saying I didn't refer to the couples as romantic, or that one should be more like another. I focused on the fact the relationships are based in a professional setting (Its just that that setting still involves sex). Yes Alex and DG should be more open to eachother, but they shouldn't try to be other people.
However, you could argue that MD as a seasoned professional, should be more mature and reserved with how he treats his partners socially to maintain a professional relationship like Alex does. Considering that like Alex, he seems to have an aversion to his partner fawning over him. Alex, while not being true to his feelings, has been very clear on the rules of conduct, which DG agreed to. When Chanwoo sticks to his contract, MD is the one who doesn't like it and forces a change.
I agree with @Markersable , MD and Chanwoo have issues! They're adorable, but not end goals.

Seriously...why even read if you hate the main characters? It makes no sense. The amount of negativity and hate each week on someone else's hard work is completely unwarranted. You all realize this story is fiction? I truly hope the author is unable to read this feedback on their work and get discouraged.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/9e/u405719_50x50.jpg?2)
Lol...These characters are nowhere near on the level of psyhological and mental warfare as the characters in Lolita or American Psycho. These characters resemble real life individuals and situations pretty similarly. They are not dispicable, or unlikeable at all. DG closely resembles someone with self-esteem and social anxiety issues among other things..It's pretty obvious what ails Jiwon. I'm just saying the amount of hate this manga gets each week is undeserved. This manga is different and unique. If people don't appreciate different and unique why even read?
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/ea/u413509_50x50.jpg?2)
It has gotten kind of out of hand. Its not that you have to like what characters do to engaged with them. But people are calling the ending and saying they don't care about this couple just when things get real because they're so wrapped up in whose fault it is that the sex bubble got burst. I find that odd. The story isn't done, it's a serial. Maybe be patient and wait till it's over before we condemn the characters and shit.
I'm looking everywhere and can't find a summary of this manga, or what it's supposed to be about?
