There no likeble person here..everyone sucks. The most hated person ofc the Trash Crown Prince who i really want to kidnapped and Abuse him. I hope both the crown prince and khalid can just suffer and die. I won't be satisfied if khalid try to committed suicide. i want mc to kill him so i can called it revenge. Idk how i feel about the glasses crown prince who pretend be weak. I guess we were supposed to support him but he is annoying. i do understand that he is suspicious of mc but he was kinda threatening and rude toward mc. (how come like why can yall just communicated. Fiance is also the same)

So who is the top? Cuz both seem like top to me

@lazyparrot and @disappointed: whatever made you feel like your words meant something when Iām going by whatās the norm in yaoi is beyond me. Before you start calling people names like āignorant,ā why donāt you start by paying attention to the fact that weāre discussing bedroom positions as per the way itās generally portrayed in yaoi instead of getting all up in your feelings about how thatās not not how it works in real life. Iām too perplexed to even be mad, this shxt ridiculous.

I dont think u understood anything we have said sorry but if being called ignorant hurt u its probably cuz its true. God damn it, i know we are fighting over somthing not so important in your eyes but it still is so wrong to even discuss things like these when they negatively affect the queer community because they affect ur subconscious mind, i know thats how yaoi portrays top or bottom but it was literally written by straight women who dont know shit about gay men so we should all stop using these stereotypicall terms all together+ i dont care if yaoi portrays them like that its still wrong

⦠yeah, hurt isnāt the word to describe how I feel. Annoyed is more like it. Annoyed because the top commenter was simply asking themselves a question based off what they know of yaoi. And now basically what youāre saying, is you took your own annoyance at how yaoi isn't a good representation of the gay community on the rest of us and decided to call people ignorant as if this was a platform meant for that specific topic: the misunderstanding of straight women toward the gay community.
If you want to start such a topic, then open or search for a platform thatās meant for it. At least there, youāll have someone give you appropriate responses and maybe counter what you have to say by going about how yaoi was ironically created by women FOR women āand is distinct from homoerotic media marketed to gay men.ā I remember researching it a long time ago because I was curious about the reason why girls, regardless of their sexual orientation, loved it. I mean if youāre going to criticize something, try to see where itās coming from before jumping down peopleās throats about what it is you believe they donāt understand.
I understand yāall are mad because you see it as a misrepresentation of your community, but how about understanding its origins as well? Then if youāre still mad, then thatās on you. But I personally found respect for the subject matter by understanding what led to it and how it was a helpful tool of sorts for women in Japan a long time ago.

Thereās probably more source material out there.

First of i never critisized girls for reading BL, never said it was wrong, anybody can read it im not gatekeeping anything, but i just dont want these discussion being made (whos the top/bottom when they havent had sex or if its shounen ai because it really is hurtful towards the gay community).
I've also done my research and i know more than you think, i know its origin very well, and i dont have a problem with it.
Where i draw the line is here + dont twist my words to fit your own intentions i never said yaoi is a bad representation i was talking about the seme/uke situation and straight people getting to comfortable with these terms!
Hope this helps clear up the misunderstandings we had.

I mean nothing about the very first comment you dropped reflected that this was your thought process. And even so, youād have a point if people were getting comfortable with those terms when they werenāt addressing a yaoi they were reading. But you went off about how we donāt know shxt as if we were discussing that in an entirely different setting. So this makes it even more puzzling to me.
Anyway, I said my piece and thatās that.

Actually, my bad. Before you go off on me again: It wasnāt your first reply the problem. The problem was that we were having two completely different conversations (you were mad at a term being used, I didnāt know that and replied for the sake of what the first commenter meant and then you went off about ignorance and what not). It spiraled from there.

I know it's a bit late to enter this discussion but..
I'm going to guess you are a gay man. You are wrong. Now I'm not saying that all gay man have a preferred position, but I know for a fact that some do. I also remember hearing that out there you can actually find statistics on who prefers the passive role and who the active.
Now, nobody in real life who is also a decent person will ever go to a couple and ask: "are you a top or a bottom?"
But for F*** sake if someone asks the question on a manga you don't get to do whatever you felt entitled to back there.
There is a time and place for such discussion, but I don't think it's under a media that is written by women (mostly I'm guessing) for women.
Or what you think we all think that gay man that like taking the passive role are like those princess like ukes that so many artist like to draw in this genere?
Straight people getting comfortable with these terms, dear god you are a child and it shows.
NOBODY IN REAL LIFE DISCUSSES ABOUT THEIR PREFERRED SEX POSITIONS IF IT'S NOT A PERSON THEY ARE REALLY COMFORTABLE WITH
You wanna know how I know? Because I'm a f** adult
Grow up

Sigh.. thank u for saying that tbh iam not good with my english since it not my first language and iam too lazy to reply. I only ask simple question and expect simple answer. Iam talking about what happend in manga not in real life. I dont randomly and i never ask my gay best friend till now. who is top or bottom it
He is sexy but i still dont trust him. Whatsup with the lighting and shading under his eyes making him look suspicious. When his eyes got bigger lol it makes him look scary also when she was gonna say "sure" she remember the blind date guy who said she is interesting bc she dont wanna be in relationship that why she stop her self from saying that. I guessing it her pride thingy
