if you can handle the very much later on physically disabled mc (hence the name of the story) constantly being brutally raped and assaulted by various people, then you deserve a gold fucking star, since trying to read this a second time actually made me nearly throw up with how bad it gets.

both ml’s are.. horrible, let’s put it that way lightly, and poor mc just suffers throughout the story no matter what he say’s or does, they try to paint the ending as happy but it just feels like absolute hell and stockholm syndrome once you’ve got through the absolute burning dog shit pile that is the story and side stories, the side stories just are beyond gross and demoralizing for the mc, just.. ugh.

Girl I've seen you recommending this everywhere No I can't stomach that but genuine question: Every time I see you recommend this you don't name a single good thing about it just about how much its garbage. So what makes you want to even attempt rereading it? What makes it worth reading in the first place?

I guess in a sense pure curiosity when I see others talking about it a lot, it’s like.. okay, I’ll give this a decent shot since it’s being discussed a fair bit, if it’s too much I’ll put it down and maybe come back at another time since I could of easily misjudged it?

I guess the art style was what really made me go through it the first time since it’s actually pretty good despite the horrifying shit show the plot it was, and I thought I could manage it a second time despite how uncomfortable I was, since I’ve read fairly worse things such as when they cry, which is just a gore feast of a series now that I look back on it.

I guess I also just wanted to warn people as well, if they had morbid curiosity like I do, you know?

Okayyy but then why recommend it in the first place?? Like it still sounds like absolute dogshit from how you described it and not even in a "so bad its good" sorta way. it’s fine, I actually found it myself due to someone commenting on it on the forums not too long ago and the cover art looked cool, so it’s how I found it in the first place.

don’t get me wrong, the premise of the story actually is half good if you get rid of the all the brutal rape and such, the whole mafia aspect was another reason I wanted to reread it, since the actual mafia main story going on was actually interesting, and it made the ml when he wasn’t being downright cruel to the mc actually kinda badass and added more character to him.

I also grew up watching a lot of mafia types of media due to my own father, so when I saw it was also mafia related, it made me feel nostalgic.

I figured as well if I reread it a second time and instead skip past most of the rape and assault that I can for the actual main story itself, then yeah I could probably get through it, but nah, just couldn’t handle it, and that’s perfectly fine, albeit my confusing thought process of course.
