I was reading the novel a few months back since I love obsessive tops, and this adaptation nails his excessive crying for sure
Ngl I'm not a fan of the amnesia arc (and dropped the novel bc of it since I'm very picky about how they're done), but the top giving Luo Binghe vibes and the adaptation being pretty faithful means I'll probably keep reading it out of curiosity

I'll leave the novel here instead!

The novel is a rough read, but definitely had me hooked bc it was almost hard to stomach (and I consider myself a seasoned BL veteran). Definitely very psychological story with a slight touch of Warehouse vibes. I couldn't stop reading...
Highly recommend that people with weaker stomachs not indulge, but those who like these kinds of stories - this is absolutely quality goods right here I'm very excited to see the rest of it drawn bc this artist is peak

It's like a little bit of similar flavor, but also the way things are done and the characters themselves are quite different/distinct!
And yes, Warehouse is of my favorites
I would say Warehouse is way more psychologically focused than this one. This one gets much more hardcore and problematic xD
I'm happy to see another Warehouse liker in the comments!!!
Omg the way I leapt at the side story when I saw the update just now!!!
I really love the way the main plot was incorporated into this and I'm so glad that even if their relationship started so rocky that there's this chance to really be together
Ngl tho, it hurt knowing that our sidestory MC basically admitted that the main story MC is not capable of love anymore. But this is what AUs are for and even though it wasn't as fluffy as most actor AUs, it still fulfills the purpose of giving our beloved pair a little bit of happiness.
Actor AU's still out here curing depression
