Jinyoo is most likely pansexual or bisexual. He first liked Hayan cause he's never been that close to a girl before, after finding out that Hayan is a man he still likes him. So that shows that he likes Hayan's personality more and not their gender. Cause if he did like them cause they presented as a female then he would just be seen as straight.

He fell for his best friend at the time too and not just any guy so that makes me think he's omnisexual or bisexual.

Being in a relationship with a pre-op trans woman doesn't make the relationship gay. Hayan is a woman, and she and Jinyoo are in a heterosexual relationship. They have anal sex because Hayan hasn't had bottom surgery yet. Jinyoo is most likely bi with a masc preference, but this doesn't mean that he's gay or that Hayan is a man simply because she's pre-op.

I'm not saying he doesn't experience same sex attraction (which he clearly does) but his entire sexuality doesn't have to revolve around that. Hayan is a woman. He's attracted to Hayan. He's attracted women AND men.

She identifies as a woman and she physically looks like one too. But she still has her male parts, her sex is still male, therefore his SEXuality is is homosexual.

Physical and sexual attraction is not the same thing. But the sexual attraction is what determents your sexuality.

Does anyone else find it weird that Alek has been mad at Ivan for almost 30 years because of something Ivan said when he was 5 years old. Shouldn’t he have let it go by now? What he said wasn’t even that bad. Or am I just missing something?

I can't think of anything you're missing.

Alek was not only abused by his father. The whole family hated him. And staying with them was not a major improvement I think. And also Alek thought all this time that he was pitied and rediculed even from Ivan. Ivan was too young to explain that his actions and feelings were different from the other family members

Emotional Trauma has a lasting effect on people. Something that may seem insignificant to Ivan and the rest of us may be the worst event in life to Alek.

Ivan unknowingly said that Alek was mistreated in front of everyone, not knowing that these people probably already knew and they didn't care.

Alek felt embarrassed but also afraid because he knew his family would hurt him more because to them, he "put his negative feelings onto Ivan". He felt too powerless to take out his anger on the elders of his family and instead decided to resent Ivan because his brain took Ivan as the easiest thing to process the trauma Alek went through.

trauma can last a long time. but as an adult alek should realize that ivan was just a child and had nothing to do with the treatment he received from others. at some point we have to stop using excuses to damage others and own up to our choices and mistakes. he is trying to harm both ivan and hen when he knows better. he still has the capacity to know right from wrong.
