Hopefully it doesn't go in the usual yaoi trope (like you said but i think it will be predictable) and the author decides to surprise us and Adam realizes that this is not the right way to win Joel over.
Though I didn't like how willful and selfish the first time was, both stories were really cute and fluffy. My dried up heart feels a lot better now (≧∀≦)
