Hi! I'm from the Bay Area in California. And it is chaotic here as everyone is scrambling to stock up on groceries, medicines, supplies etc. There's crowds of people in stores. Traffic almost everywhere where car accidents are waiting to happen. It's scary because people are panicking and being rude/hurtful to each other. Tomrrow, we will start a h...... 1 reply

I'm 23. My husband's 26. We've been married for almost 2 years. And the number one question we constantly get asked is "When will you have children?" Do you tip at restaurants?

Personally, when I know the restaurant pays their waiters/ waitresses the general minimum wage (above $8.25), then I don't tip (like California). Unless they gave great service, which is when I'll definitely tip.

But other than that, I don't see the point since they're already being paid to do their job. When I worked at an animal hospital, I was paid minimum wage ($8.25) as a vet tech. I always did my best to appease the patients/clients, and made sure they were happy and comfortable with my service. I went beyond my expected duties, which I didn't have to do and wasn't being paid extra for it. I did that to help as much as I can. I figured it was the same in restaurants.
