Horus was always reminding me some character but I couldn't make it that time. But I finally realized that it was Connor Kenway from Assassin's Creed. They both resemble each other with their appearance (a little bit) and their personality.

This is my opinion and I'm curious about yours too. When I first started Potn it looked like it had a potential.. But now all I see is useless scenes (you know what I mean). And things are happening too fast. We don't get any flashbacks, childhood memories, or any information about a character. And some of the "scenes" are just meaningless to me. This could've been a masterpiece but now seeing that this great potential is going in to the trash is bad.
I’m honestly at 50/50 on stalling it. mainly staying for the art ‘cause damn the story may start to suck but the art is just too beautiful. (￣∇￣")
tbh, i didn't really like any of the chapters this season aside from chapter 49, and today's chapter wasn't that bad either surprisingly. chapter 50 was essentially just an infodump too, not to the readers, but to the characters. you're right about the many useless scenes part, at this point, they're not as exciting to look at, but the MCs literally know no other way to communicate.
it's not like the characters'll develop overnight either, maybe the author's intending for it to be a suuuuper slowburn? but i like the MCs so i'll keep buying this manhwa until the end to see how it turns out for them.
(plus i'm curious about what the author'll do with the assassin and jihwa's characters lmao).
i'm just praying that the plot will go back to it's former glory soon tho.

Well I am seeing some character development but the plot is slow, not that I'm complaining bc the art is superb. Seugho is really falling for Nakyum, he is obsessed enough that he hasn't screwed anyone else for chapters whereas before he had a rotating schedule of thirsty bitches. It isn't love yet, he hasn't figured out what it is but he has had sex repeatedly with Nakyum trying to feel what he felt back then when a drunken NK thought he was making love to his unrequited love.
Nakyum on the otherhand was innocent and naive and oddly sheltered for someone who grew up in a brothel. Nakyum has had several flashbacks, btw. Now, Nakyum is brokenhearted af over realizing how Inhun sees him and he's depressed about learning his first time wasn't with Inhun and he was too drunk to realize it at the time. His thought bubbles in the recent chapters show he has given up on love and that sex is meaningless...it's just two bodies coming together for pleasure, nothing more.
The turn of events, if I'm reading the spoiler hints right is all centered around nakyum thinking he is no better than a prostitute, he is just a body that likes pleasure and sex with SH is meaningless...I can see Seungho giving him an object lesson in the next chapter that is likely to really piss off many readers.
Are we reading the same thing??? Personally, I don’t see any useless scenes (could you give an example) the scenes so far are relevant to how Nakyums character feels, and what influences him to behave the way he does. This happens for seungho and other side characters as well.
The lack of flashbacks about seungho makes him more intriguing, as I can’t read him or his expressions so well, it makes me want to keep reading to find out more about him. Bothe seungho and nakyum are not the same people from season one, their characters have definitely developed. Seungho is more aware of his emotions towards nekyum and how his actions affect him. Nekyum is not the innocent and naive boy that he used to be.
I think the manhwa still has a lot to unpack

It's just that Nakyum is one of those characters that awakens your maternal instincts because of his personality and with everything he's gone through, it makes you just wanna protect him. And it's not like people are calling him that to be rude. You can always choose not to read the comments you know.
