Because of the trauma and believeing his love is dead because of him, he loses his memories (the details of "his omega" but not his existence entirely)

Pretty much from the get go (chap 2?) ML makes MC be in the area protecting him/watching and dealing with fling when done. Their physical relationship starts chap 7, but flings still going on. chap 18 is in the middle/ beginning of the fling rape, before having to be carried away, ML makes MC taking his spot (this sex is why MC bleeds from his hole) I also believe this is when ML starts becoming attached to MC and I believe it's that last fling ML had, and orders MC to take care of his needs instead
